    Tee-Vee

My favorite shows were "Rome" on HBO, NOVA on PBS and reruns of Carl Sagan's "Cosmos".  For fun I like the theatrical mock machismo on the WWE Smackdown! Nice to see The Hulkster back in action.

also: "Supernatural" about monster-fighting brothers on the CW and the recently canceled "Journeyman" on NBC.  It was a great show about a Kurt Vonnegut-like time traveller who was unstuck in time.

I really hate reality shows.  Sooooooo boring. There about as close to reality as the characters in a Pirandello play.  Or was that a Twilight Zone episode? lol   It would be fun to see someone like William Shatner on a weight loss show.  Can you imagine?  The Biggest Loser is Captain Kirk! LMAO

I just read that Dave Letterman has cut a deal with the striking WGA writers to return back to Late Night. I hope they used the down time to come up with some funny jokes.  I could really use a good laff rite bout now.

I luv Smallville -- Tom Welling is so perfect as the young Clark Kent Superman.  This season has been really good but it's a darn shame the WGA strike will cut it short.  I hope they don't end with a cliffhanger!  The actor who plays Lex Luthor is good too - he makes a sexy villain.  But when I see Clark help people and try and save the world I want to too!

I hope Green Arrow returns - he's a pretty good substitute Batman! "D I'd like to see him hook up with Supergirl instead of Black Canary - blonde on blonde action always gets my motor purrin'. Mybe thats cuz Im a blonde? D'oh = blonde moment! lol

I enjoy catching old Santo masked wrestling movies on Telemundo.  For the most part earth tv is pretty boring.

The capture of thrall worms on Cygnus Seven Tonight - now that's TV!

Cygnus Seven?  Are you referring to the star or the constellation?

So Letterman's coming back WITH writers and Jay Leno ISN'T.

    This should be "velly interesting".

Late-Night Talk Shows Return Without Writers
    January 02, 2008

After nearly two months of reruns during the writers strike, all the major network late night talk shows return tonight with fresh episodes.

The CBS shows with David Letterman and Craig Ferguson will have their writers back after reaching a separate agreement with the union.

That means they'll have a much easier time booking guests because there will be no picket line to cross.

Letterman's first guest tonight will be Robin Williams. Bill Maher and Donald Trump are booked for later this week.

Meanwhile Conan O'Brien, Jay Leno, and Jimmy Kimmel are returning without writers. They are having a harder time finding guests.

Mike Huckabee will be Leno's first guest.

Guests for O'Brien and Kimmel have not been announced.

The writers say they will be picketing outside the studios of Leno, O'Brien and Kimmel today.

They say their picketing isn't aimed at the hosts, who are also Writer's Guild members, but at the companies that produce the shows.

    Re: Tee-Vee

Leno really need writers - ouch. And Conan O'Brien sucked too. But wasn't he originally a writer for The Simpsons?
